These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of thepanoram.app website and the Panoram app. By using them, you accept these Terms and ourPrivacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service owner

2. Description of the service

Panoram is a progressive web application (PWA) offering an interactive 3D map, routes, points of interest (POIs), and content for exploring natural tourism destinations, with GPS orientation and offline support. The currently available destination is the Perito Moreno Glacier Walkways; we plan to add more destinations. The app is a product under development: its features, content, and availability may change, expand, or be discontinued at any time.

3. Account and access

Access to the interactive experiences requires signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity carried out under your session.

4. Permitted use and prohibited conduct

You agree to use the service lawfully and in good faith. The following is prohibited:

  • using it for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights;
  • interfering with, damaging, or overloading the service or its infrastructure;
  • attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or other users' accounts;
  • reverse-engineering, decompiling, or extracting the code or content except as permitted by law;
  • reproducing, distributing, or commercially exploiting the content without authorization.

5. Intellectual property

The service and its design, code, brand, logos, 3D maps, models, text, images, and other content are owned by [Legal entity] or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You are granted no rights to them beyond personal, non-commercial use under these Terms. Photos you capture with the camera are yours; you are responsible for how you use them.

6. Third-party content

The service may display third-party information (e.g., weather data from Open-Meteo) or integrate third-party services (Google/Firebase, external fonts and libraries). We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or operation of such content or services, which are governed by their own terms.

7. Outdoor use, GPS, and safety

Important — please read this section carefully. Panoram is a complementary orientation and content tool; it does not replace your own judgment, official signage, guides, park rangers, or the location's navigation or safety systems.

  • GPS location may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable, especially in mountain, glacier, forest, or low-signal areas.
  • Route and POI content may not reflect real-time conditions, terrain changes, closures, or hazards.
  • Do not use the app while walking on hazardous terrain, walkways, edges, or slippery surfaces. Stay aware of your surroundings.
  • Always follow park staff instructions, official signage, and the destination's safety rules.
  • Outdoor activities in natural environments involve inherent risks that you assume at your own responsibility.

8. Availability and operation

We strive to keep the service available, including its offline mode, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data (including weather data) will be accurate or up to date.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, [Legal entity] shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including — without limitation — damages related to GPS or content inaccuracies, on-the-ground navigation decisions, data loss, or service interruptions. Nothing in these Terms limits liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Consumers

If you use the service as a consumer, you enjoy the rights granted byArgentine Consumer Protection Law No. 24,240 and other applicable regulations of the Republic of Argentina, which are not affected by these Terms.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms or the service's features at any time. We will publish the current version at this address with its update date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access, in whole or in part, in the event of breaches of these Terms or for operational, technical, or legal reasons.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Argentina. In the event of any dispute, the parties submit to the competent ordinary courts of [City, Province], without prejudice to the jurisdiction that applies non-waivably to consumers.
